Proven Coatings for Architectural Metals
With over 100 years of coating expertise, Carbit supplies water- and solvent-borne systems designed for architectural metals in city and industrial environments (ISO C3). For the past two decades, our coatings have protected metal fasteners, commercial steel doors, and garage doors with reliable performance and lasting durability.
High-Performance Polyurethane & Acrylic Systems
Carbit’s Series 11 – 2K Solvent-Based Polyurethane delivers excellent protection for steel, aluminum, galvanneal, and galvanized substrates in industrial and coastal environments (ISO C4). It cures under ambient conditions or can be force-dried for efficiency, with comprehensive performance testing available.
For a water-based solution, Series 387 – 1K Acrylic Enamel provides fast-drying, low-VOC protection with superior adhesion, color, and gloss retention. Paired with 325 Epoxy Ester primer, it enhances corrosion resistance for pumps, conveyors, cabinets, scaffolding, and more.
Epoxy/Polyurethane Corrosion Protection
For harsh, corrosive environments, Carbit’s Series 23 Epoxy Primer combined with Series 11 Polyurethane offers outstanding resistance to salt fog, water immersion, and chemicals while maintaining film hardness and long-term color and gloss. This two-coat system delivers proven results for critical applications demanding lasting protection.
